Life is a gamble a game that we all play. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from we all play it. Me? I use to playing it when it is just me but there is another person that is kind of like my partner and she is afraid to play which is driving me crazy. I pray that she would find what she wanted to do so I would know what to do. Craziness…
Well I hope your three-day weekend was great. Mine was good and interesting all at the same time.
Friday we went swimming at my new pool. We did a lot of talking about us, things and more things.
Saturday we didn’t know what we were going to do. We went to go get some stuff for her move and then we went to the mall to the poster place to get great deals on stuff cuz they are gong out of business. I will show pics later. Then we got out and went back to her place were we decided to go back to Jefferson City to go get my Dad’s truck and we only going to go home and come back which should have only taken 6 hours at the most with getting back around 6 or so. We didn’t get back to 12.
When we got home my sister said the dryer was acting up and we had to go into town to get a part for it. I asked if I could use my sister’s car and she said yeah. Then she gave me her dept card and said use this to pay for the part and the pizzas she was ordering. I said are you feeling well. She never let me have this much freedom. Wow!!
I fixed the dryer and we ate and then we met our friend Joyce in Jeff at Zestos (Andy’s of Jefferson City). Then we got back and got back around 12 after lots of talking.
Sunday, I went to church by myself because Jen’s parents were coming into help her move some stuff. Well I said if you need any help give me a call. They didn’t which makes me wonder how strong that family really is. That nite we went to go X-3 which was really good and you could tell it was a different director but it was still good, sad but good. I give it 4.5 stars our o5. Why 4.5? Well they didn’t have some characters that should had in there. I won’t give it away but that is why I gave it a 4.5. We all went out to Stake n’ Shake afterwards and then drove around for a while and back to her place where she had to be quite cuz her parents stayed there and they were asleep.
Monday, I slept in and was awaken by a lovely voice of Jen as she helped me wake up. We spent some time together getting stuff for her to move before she went off to work and went to my friend’s Deanna and Mel’s for dinner. Yummy, Yummy! Great Friends, good food, what else can you ask for! My parents called for there vacation to Kawaii and they are having a great time. I wish I was there with them. Then Jen came over after work and we watch “Second Hand Lion,” which was a good movie. I give 5 out of 5 stars! Then she headed home and now I’m back at work were I’m recovering from the weekend.

I had to step back today and see what is going on in my life. Jen told me something last nite that made me step back and think that I haven't been the person I usually am. Not as helpful as I use to be, don't talk as much anymore, always in a hurry, not looking at the little things in life as I once did, ect. ect. Well I'm working on it and I glad that I was able to see this before it got worse.
There is just so much going on anymore that life seems to fly by more and my parents say it gets worse as you get older. Great, something to look forward to a guess. So don't forget to stop to some the roses cuz you if you don't you will miss the sweetest smell there is... ok one of them if you aren't allergic to them..

"CRAZY LIFE" I lead

Life? Life is good it is going well. Jen hasn’t set it in stone yet but she think she is going to movie back home after her lease is up at the end of the month and it has me thinking lots and lots of thoughts…
Friday I took off of work to see Jen and my friend graduate from Missouri State. It was an interesting day to say the least. I woke up early to take back a DVD and go shopping for stuff and Jen’s gift. I got Jen wine glasses that I hide in the back of my Explorer the whole day knowing that I might be driving everyone around that day. Got to Jen’s and chatting with her parents while she got ready. She looked beautiful. In her dress that she told me later that she made. Cool beans! We went to the 11 o’clock graduation where Jen and some friends graduated. It was pretty cool. Afterwards Jen suggested Lamberts because her parents have never been there. While waiting we went into the gift shop where my old neighbor who could be a stalker was talking to Jen’s mom. I was like crab what is she saying to Jen’s mom. She creeps me out and I wonder what she was saying. We got into Lamberts and everyone had a good time. After we got back to Jen’s apt after Lamberts her parents left for home and Jen and went to see other friends graduate at the 5 o’clock. After the ceremony we all talked for a while and had fun taking pictures.
For dinner that nite I treated Jen to dinner at Zio’s ( which she has never been to before) were we could eat everything cuz fot he big lunch we had but that is what “take-home-boxes” are for. The evening was still early so Jen and went for a walk to see the new building around my complex. We had a great time.
After telling her good nite I went to bed cuz I had a race the next day.
The whole week I didn’t feel like racing and that next morning wasn’t any different. My legs were tired and I was focused. I went thinking if I warmed up I would get into it. While I was warming up I bumped into my friend Emily from back home and we talked for a little bit while I was warming up. Her husband was there to run the 10k (6.2 miles) race, the same one as that I was running. By the time the race came I was focused and ready to run. It was a great temperature when the race started and I just ran to see what I could do. I was very impressed with the way I ran the race. I have been working on pacing cuz I have a problem with keeping a steadying pace but I kept and great pace passing the people the whole time. It was great!! I ended up 41st place to tie with a guy that elbowed me to get the 40th place. I said sounds good I’m just glad to be finished. The heat and humidity got worse by the end of the race. I ended up 41st out of 228 people with a time of 44:52. Great race!!
Jen and I had a picnic that day after I recovered and she got off of work were I gave her the gift I got her and enjoyed hanging out with each other and late nite walk.
Sunday I pick her up in the middle of services and went to church to see some old friends off to New York.
That nite we went to go see the De Vinci Code with the friends and it was good. Some people didn’t like it as much as they thought they would. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Sorry I have been go so long. A lot of things have been happening and trying to figure stuff out.

I think my mind is just rushing so much these days that I need a time to think about what is going on but I don’t see anytime in the future which means I will have to make time or I could make life hard for me and everyone around me.

Here is a good one for you all. I have a great job which I love going to most of the time. There are days where I think am I supposed to be doing this? Am I wasting my time here? Is this what I’m suppose to do? Is this it?
I have found out of the years of working different jobs that I love to a lot of stuff and not just one thing. Some have called me “Jack of All Trades but Mater of None.” Somone told me I should find something to master and I was thinking what would I master? At this point I mess with a little of everything that I like. From taking photos, to drawing, CAD, designing, learning new stuff, changing photos or pictures, manual labor every once in a while, and driving around in a company vehicle I get to enjoy what I do. There is more but that is some of the ones I think of now.
Is it time for me to find something and maybe go back to school to master something or keep on the road I am seeing where it goes? Most of the time I feel I right where I suppose to be cooling my jets after going to school hard core for 4 yrs but sometime I feel that I am wasting my time here and that if I don’t watch it I could get stuck here in this for life. Where I am right now I feel I should be getting paid more, and can’t do some of things I want to do in the future on the pay I’m getting now.
I’m getting the urge to go back to school to learn more stuff but not for work but for fun. Am I just thinking to much sometimes or is this something I should be thinking about more about?

eye opener

Well this weekend was an eye opener. It all started Friday when I got off of work and went home to change and get ready to a go a friend’s wedding. Jen was actually in the wedding so I was going to meet her there. Jen asked if her friend Vena could hitch a ride and I said sure. So after Vena found my place we went on to West Plains which is a like a Hour and half away.
Vena and I got there fine with out to much trouble. We did get lost but we found it and enjoyed the wedding. The wedding was great and the reception afterwards was also a fun time. I got Jen up to dance with me, I got her to actually swing dance. After that she said she like dancing with me. It was time to go home and I had a logn day at work and was planning on taking a nap before Vena and I left but didn’t. So, I drove tired and Jen didn’t her best to keep me up and I was doing my best keep up. As soon as me made to Springfield I was up because in when I’m in a city it is easier to keep up. We were almost home when at 65 mph the explorer went haywire and started to hydroplane. We were driving on hwy 60 at 12 or 1 in the morning. We went across the media on to the other lane of the hwy and the I over corrected to back across the median on across the lain to the shoulder towards a fence but stopping right before the fence. As soon as it we stated hydroplaning I was thinking, “Don’t flip, don’t flip” cuz explorers are easy to flip. As soon as we stopped I asked if everyone was ok. Jen was fine in front with me and Vena woke up as soon as we stopped. Vena didn’t have her seatbelt on which I didn’t know.
Then I went out to survey the dame to the explorer cuz we bottomed out two or three times going through the ditches. I got out prying it wasn’t to bad and it wasn’t. The passenger fog lap was hanging down and that is all that seem to be wrong. We got back an the ladies went back to Jen’s for the nite and I was going to look to see if there was anything else wrong with the explorer. Nothing was so I went to bed.
The next day, which was Saturday, I went to go see if I could fix the explorer. Vena forgot her umbrella so I called Jen telling her this and while talking with her I noticed and didn’t have a license plate on the front bumper. Jen said I should go find it. On the way I saw the hanging fog lap go spinning done the road in back of me.
Saturday nite Jen, our friend Jessica went to the skinny improve which was good but not as good as it was last time. It was poring cats and dogs. Then we went to meet Renee at the piano bar. It was fun and some more of or friends came and decided to go to icon and Jen stayed with me at the piano bar.
Sunday we went to church and afterwards went out to eat and then we went to look at open house, which we love to do after church. We saw four house and we liked 2 out of 4.
Jen came over for ice scream last nite but left early cuz her friend was still in town as was suppose to leave last nite but Jen called me around one it the morning telling me she hadn’t got back yet. I hope everything is ok. I will give her a call in a little bit.Me on the other hand am ok. I don’t’ know if I’m still in shock or if other stuff is on the mind but I can’t get my mind thinking straight. Everything happens for a reason and I just have to have faith in the One who is in charge of my life. I’m trouble by other things in life but this isn’t the place to talk about that. Life is just a little crazy these days a little more than I use to. So I’m just going with it seeing where it is going.
