Off for me week and KC. I will be stopping back into Springfield for a little visit but I can't stay cuz I have to get back to KC. ha ha ha

How do you know when you have experienced something which you have never have experienced before?
This is going to be a interesting week coming up!! This weekend a couple of us are going to KC to visit Mandy and see her new place. We leave on Friday after work. We are going to have a good time and relax with friends. We come back Sunday then it is off to work that next day.
Then Tuesday after work I leave for KC again for training and I get back Friday. I will be learning more about the systems I use here at work and I get everything paid for. I even get to take the city Explorer where the gas is also paid for. How cool is that? Craziness!!!Pray for safe travels.

what a weekend

Hi to all…
This weekend was great! I guess it kind of started last Thursday where I attended a surprise birthday party for Carrie Fox. It was great to surprise that girl cuz we all knew that she was going to screamer her head off and we were right.
Friday was pre-race day and I was kind of wondering how I was going to do. Jen was at work that nite so I was just going to stay in a rest up for the next day but God had something else in mind that nite. My Uncle called me up asking if we wanted to hang out that nite. Surprise me was My Uncle, Aunt and cousin by taking me out distracting me from the worry of the next day and filling me up with a great dinner. With all of that I went to bed still wondering how I was going to do but ok with it.
Saturday morning I woke up to the temp being 9 degrees and snow. It was great. I picked up Dan and we were off to race underground where the temp was 50 degrees.
I was talking smack to a guy I have beat in the past and he said he will follow me in. He started up front and I took a different strategy and started more in the middle. I get fast when I past people. The race was awesome! Dan I started together but he fell behind and I went on I had someone to catch. He was really far up there so I had to move. I bet I past 15 to 20 people by the end of the race. We also past the open door, blowing in 9 degree temps, four times and I hoping I wouldn’t freeze up. At the end I didn’t catch the guy and I didn’t break 20 mins like I wasn’t but I found out a new way to race that I want to work with and that my new training program is paying off or is it? I ended up 27th over all and 26th in men’s with a time of 20:19, they say 20:26 so, I will go with mine. I was 6th in my age group.
Sunday I went to go pick up my favorite girl and we went to church and then to the Brew Co. where 13 people showed up to celebrate my birthday. Thank You to all of you that could make it. I had a great time and I think they did to. After lunch Jen and I rushed off to Columbia MO to see Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, and Keith Anderson in concert. We got to Jefferson City around 2 hours and that is frek’n fast. I wasn’t driving any faster but we got there faster.
Jen was a trooper and we both had a good time at the concert. Afterwards we stayed at my house in Holts Summit for the nite. The next day was President’s day so a lot of people had off. My mother, sister, Jen, and I the day off but my dad didn’t. My dad got up and we talked a little bit and was sad that he couldn’t stay around to get to kow Jen more. Well we all got up and had breakfast where we didn’t get up from the table for two hours.
Well Jen had to be back to work so I didn’t get much of a chance to shower her my neck of the woods but maybe next time.
I came back where with some help from Derek and completed my taxes. This is the first year I’m doing them and I am so thankful that Derek was there to help but I did them right. If I stop communicating to you all you will know I did my taxes wrong and that they took me away.Till next time I gotta jet!!!

Well one chapter has ended and another has begun today. Happy Birthday to me!! This last year has been a great one form ups to downs. I have learned a lot about life and myself but I know that I haven’t learned enough, which, is ok by me. Made some new friends; had a great times with the ones I already have and looking forward to many more.
Went home this weekend to spend some time with my family and had some fun. I hung out with my family Friday were we watched the opening to the Olympics which was great. One of the best! Saturday my dad and I went to go cut wood where I miss so much so it was great to get back to nature a little. It was a nice day to cut wood. We all got a good workout. That nite dad and I went with my Cousin to see “Underworld Evaluation” and the séance were good but the plot kind of suck. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
Sunday I went t church were a lot of people seemed really happy to see me. They were actually talking to me and wanting to know what I have been up to. Weird! I went out with my family and friends for Lunch and the came back to Springfield where I prepared a surprise for Jen when she came over. To much to go into details but lets just say she liked it and she surprise me also with a nice watch that I will start wearing when I get the band adjusted but when I workout I will go back to my Ironman.
Part of Jen’s gift was last nite but I just bought tickets to Rascal Flatts next weekend in Columbia. We got some pretty good seats and I can’t wait to go. She will see my neck of the woods and meet some more of my family. I hope she likes it. This will be our first road trip. Wish us well.
Thank you to all that have wished Me a Happy Birthday already. Birthday party for me will be next week at the Brew Co at 1 pm. If you can make it sure will be glad to see you all. If not well wish me a happy birthday and you will be there in spirit.

Patients

Everything is going pretty good but these are the moments like now I ask for patients…

What is up with this weather? I don't' mind it but I'm starting to wonder what the spring and summer are going to bring. I have been take advantage of it as much as I can by running and enjoying the nice weather over all.
Guess what? are you guessing or am I going to have to tell you. Well I'm going to tell you anyway. They are now working on my own office here where I work. Four walls not cubical walls but four walls with studs, nails, and sheetrock. How cool is that!! Even better they might be building a desk just for me also. That is so neat!!
