Jen and I's Spring Break

This is a little long but I really loved our trip so here is and this isn’t everything so this is the short version.
Saturday morning we left and I drove most of the way because Jen didn’t like driving through KC so after ten hours of driving we get to her grandmothers farm in NW Kansas were I was a little intimidated because this is a grandmother that has been around for a while and can see stuff that others can’t so I was just breathing. We were going to stay for another day but when we heard of a nasty storm coming we decided to leave that next day so we wouldn’t get stuck in Kansas for most of the week. That nite I had the whole upstairs to myself. It was weird but I was comfortable. The farm was so cool I wished me could have explored it and we were planning on doing that next day but we had to leave early.
That next morning (Sunday) we left for Colorado Springs, CO while she was driving the whole way. We got some snow but we got there with out too much trouble. Those mountains were breathtaking as it was the first time seeing them. For the rest of the week I got to spend time with Jen’s family (her bother Jon, sister in law Jacque, and two nephews: JJ and the youngest Joe.) The drive didn’t agree with Jen so she went to bed early and there I was we her brother and sister in law. We watched a movie and then we had to move my bed up to my room at 12 or so at nite. It was fun let me tell you what. I went to bed and was awoken by Jen coming into my room around 3 or so telling me she was alright. We talked for a while and she went back to her room.
Monday was a snow day so the nephews were home and Jacque didn’t have to go to class that day so we spent the day playing around. We had so much fun that they left with the youngest while the others had to go to an appointment. That nite we all played games and watch movies. It was a blast!
Tuesday Jen and I played games and lounged around the house that day.
Wednesday I went weight lifting with Jacque and it was said that I was able to run 2 miles but I proved them wrong when I did a 17 min two mile and when I was done it felt like I just got done with a race. I was tired so I got home I took a nap. Jen and I went out exploring that day and cut it short cuz I forgot my camera and we wanted to go to Joe’s play. The play was great and we all went out to eat that nite.
Thursday I slept in and Jen and I went to do more exploring. We went to the Olympic training center, which was great. Jen regretted letting me go to the Spirit Story (gift shop.) After that we went to the Air force academy where we explored the area has much as we could. The chapel there was awesome and at the visitor center you could tell that where recruit everyone that came with signs everywhere and advertisements.
Friday we headed back to Jen’s grandmothers where it was a grand time. I got to learn a new game and felt like Jen’s grandmother had warmed up to me more. It was fun. I had the whole upstairs to myself again and a goodnite sleep.
Saturday we left for Missouri were we stopped off in KC to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Always good food and a great time getting lost in KC. I don’t if I will ever like that town. After that we traveled to St. Charles to spend time with Jen’s mother and helping her out moving some stuff around the house. Sunday we all went to church and went out to eat afterwards at Charles. It is kind of like a Friday’s or Ruby Tuesdays. It was ok. We went back and relaxed for a while. Jen wanted to be back in town to see her work schedule so we left but we got stuck in traffic for a while and yeah, we didn’t get back until 9:30 or so. We were both tired and wore out. We got an each other’s nerves but she didn’t make me walk back. We had a great time and we are still together. This was the best Springbreak and ever had. I think that is the only Springbreak were I ever went anywhere.
