Merry Christmas
I know it has been a while but life has been kind of crazy lately. I was only in Springfield until Wednesday nite last week. I took off the rest of the week to have a little time with my family and friends back home that I don’t get to see a lot and I’m kind I did. I got back late Wednesday nite and talk to the fam for a little while before I went to bed.
Thursday I got a real treat as I headed up to St Charles to see Jen for she had the whole day off. We spent most of the day together. I didn’t get meet her Family but I think I will soon enough.
One of the funny things I like to talk about while I was there is that we went ring shopping. It wasn’t for her but she gave me insight of what she likes and doesn’t. My mother’s face turned white for a little bit when I was telling her the fist part of the story. A jewelry place in the St. Charles mall was having a big sale and she wanted to look.
St. Charles is one of my favorite places. I think it has to do with it being the fist time I was on my own where I got to know the city. Jen and I didn’t do much but I like being there in that city. I’m glad she lives there so I go see her and spend time in my favorite city.
Friday I spent the day putting up decorations and that nite I hung out with some friend I haven’t seen in a while. It was great to see them.
Saturday on Christmas Eve it was relaxing to help my mom and dad out around the house. I got to cut wood, which I do miss. It is such a great work out splitting wood. I wish I could do that more often. Hung out with family and friends that nite as we went to two services at church. I kick my cousin’s butts at Nintendo, which I’m proud of because they always gloat about how good they are. It was their games and yes they are good but they forget I have been around longer then they have been and I know I still have skills. It was fun.
Sunday we slept in because we had to be at our Aunt pretty early in the afternoon. It was fun. We had some great discussions and talked forever about a lot of different things.
Monday I headed back and spent the day fixing my desktop computer and unpacking. It was a pretty good 5 day weekend for me but I got spoiled and I didn’t want to come back but I’m glad I’m here getting back on a schedule. Well most of my family and friends know about Jen now. At one point they said they were gong to integrate me but there was no bright light or beatings. I was very disappoint but they asked the general question any body asked about the your better half.
I hope all of you had a great Christmas as I did

catch up
I know it has been a while and I’m sorry about that but life has been a little crazy lately and I know a lot of you know what I mean. Last week it was getting ready for the last race of the year and it didn’t go as well it could of but I finished respectively and I didn’t get hurt. My legs felt heavy and I just couldn’t get them to move but it is over with now and I’m now I’m just relaxing. I started swimming yesterday and biking hopefully starts next week.
This week well I just hanging out friends and with Jen before she leaves me for a month or only three weeks she now says. It will go fast!
Can you believe that Christmas is next weekend? That is nuts cuz it almost snuck up on me and I have almost all my shopping done. I love Christmas for the reason for the season of our Christ Jesus being born but also cuz we get so see our family and friends that we not get to see all time. Even if you don’t’ get along with them you still like seeing them.
I’m taking off Friday to go to Missouri State Graduation to see my friends finish off a chapter in their lives. Congrats to all those that are graduating especially Renee, Missy, Mandy, Erin and for anyone else I forgot to mention. I know I forgot someone cuz every time I have went I have seen someone that I didn’t know that was graduating but I’m proud to see you complete such a great milestone.Till next time I gotta jet…..

Think
Makes you stop and think
Heavenly Father, Help us remember
that the jerk who cut us off in traffic
last night is a single mother who
worked nine hours that day and
is rushing home to cook dinner,
help with homework,
do the laundry and spend a
few precious moments
with her children.
Help us to remember that the
pierced, tattooed, disinterested
young man who can't make
change correctly is a worried
19-year-old college student,
balancing his apprehension
over final exams with his
fear of not getting his
student loans for next semester.
Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum,
begging for money in the same
spot every day (who really ought
to get a job!) is a slave to addictions
that we can only imagine in ourworst nightmares.
Help us to remember that theold couple walking annoyingly
slow through the store aislesand blocking our shopping
progress are savoring thismoment, knowing that,
based on the biopsy reportshe got back last week, this
will be the last year that theygo shopping together.
Heavenly Father, remind us each day that,
of all the gifts you give us,the greatest gift is love.I
t is not enough to sharethat love with thosewe hold dear.
Open our hearts not tojust those who areclose to us,
but to all humanity.Let us be slow to judge
and quick to forgive, show patience, empathy and love.
