Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy Was really pretty good.
I had trouble in the beginning following what was going on but, by the end, I was with it and the story behind the story was also great. I give it 5 stars out of 5. The story behind the story can be summed up in the website down below.

I heard a couple of quotes that made me thank this week. Tell me what you think.

I know we are going to have disappointments in life, but what if you wake up one morning and you find out that you’re the disappointment.

We all want to know the answer to the ultimate question. WHY? Well to get the right answer you must ask the right question.

And here is a website that makes you think if you have time. It will make you think about the last question.http://www.explorefaith.org/film/hitchhiker.html

part two

Welcome toPart two of the KC road trip

The next day we had the plan of going to the zoo, then swimming, and then the art museum but because of the hot weather we couldn’t do everything. We ended chill’n inside watch ET to get away from the heat outside. We then headed to the art museum and after about an hour of directing somebody to the museum (I’m not naming names cuz it could have happen to any of us that didn’t know where they were going) we enjoyed the art we could understand. Were I got in trouble some more for having water, having a dangerous object that could knock over art (back pack), and being to close to the art. They love their art up there! Really love their art!
Jen came with the Twins, Derek and I to lunch. I got to eat my first Tie meal. It was pretty good. It was so good that I couldn’t finish it. Yes I just said I couldn’t finish a meal. Oh it was good. Went back to the hotel where we played Phase 10 for fours hours and your truly won. Great victory and I didn’t let it go to my head at all.We all wanted to go out for ice cream but we couldn’t decide were and when to go. My friend Carolyn came to pick me up and I told them to go out for Ice cream and I would meet them later. We headed out to a local bar that sounded like a Mudd House bar so I tried to convince my friends to come with us so Carolyn could meet some more of my friends. Well I’m kind of glad they didn’t come. I don’t know how they would have taken the bar that it turned out to be. It turned out to be like the Mudd house but it was also a local gay/straight bar! For those who don’t know my friend Carolyn is a lesbian. I found my self-looking around wondering who was straight and who wasn’t. Ha, Ha, Ha. After a couple of hours I said a good by to Carolyn and met up with my other friends at the Cheese Cake Factory (where they went with out me) and we chatted with our friend Yimmy and enjoyed the cool night air. I was nice. We went back and talked for a while at the hotel on one fot he beds and somewhere in there I closed my eyes and woke up on the bed in the dark. I looked around to see everyone else sleeping so I thought I must get the bed for tonite. We got up the next morning did some running around town and then we had to say good-bye to KC. Derek went his way and Missy and I went our way say good bye to Mandy. But it won’t be a long good-bye cuz Mandy is coming back next weekend. Yay! We got home around 5 and I was wiped out for the rest of the nite until I went swimming around 8 and it was really nice. I felt a lot better afterwards.

Road trip

This is a two parter...

I had pretty good weekend. I went up to KC to visit a friend that turned into visiting many friends. I so wish I could spend more time up there so I could catch up more but there just isn’t enough time given to accomplish that.

We started out late so I could drop off some info at a local business. It was only 30 mins so it wasn’t to bad. Well thanks to some great direction from Mandy we got up there with no problem. We ended up eating dinner at Stake and Shake when we couldn’t find Dick Clark’s Diner. There our friend Derek met us and we took off down town. We were in aww of how much stuff was down there. I wish I had my bike or my running shoes up there. I would have loved to explore further. We park in a very small space (congrats to Mandy for not having any dints in car when we got back) in one of the many parking garages there. We met many friends at the area where they were showing one of the greatest movies ever Princess Bride. It was very humid our there and the bugs where everywhere but every once in a while we had a nice breeze. We had fun hanging out with everyone and meeting new people. Great night!
We headed up the local War Marmoreal we were just going to check it out. It was huge but it turned into a scene from Cops. Part of or group who was on the other side got stopped by security so Renee and I saw this thinking we should head down to. We didn’t make it. He stopped us to saying we weren’t in trouble but the place was closed blah, blah, blah. It was great looking for the stuff we go to see. After the movie we went up to the circling restaurant called Skies. It was an awesome view of the city, and great place to sit and relax from the walk there. We said bye to everyone and Missy Mandy Derek and I headed back to the hotel where we stayed very early in the morning just chatting.

Come back tomorrow for part 2....

bummer

Well I lost the apartment.
To tell you the truth I’m really bummed about it and maybe it is for the best. I’m not angry because the other people’s plans fell through to get a house. I just had my heart on getting out of this place and into a better place. I feel like I have out grown the place I’m at now and some times I feel like those animals that you see at the zoo in the pins when they need more. I just hope my eyes don’t glaze over. That is bad news if you were wounding. I am still looking if anybody has any ideas. Better place with a w/d hook up for a good price. I know I will be fine but I get this weird feeling when I’m in my apt anymore. It feels like I need to move on but I know I will be fine what ever happens. Everything happens for a reason.
I have had some weird dream lately. I mean weird. I won’t go into detail because it would take to long to explain and I don’t want to freak anybody out. If you want them explained; give me a call or come by and see me.
I’m going to KC this weekend. I’m kind of looking forward to but now that I don’t have a place to move to next year I kind of want to stay here and find a place. But I need to get out of this town and see some new sites and I haven’t seen much of KC so it should be fun.But all is well just a little snag in the road.

UFO everywhere

The weekend of weridness
Friday I went go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was ok! I give it maybe 3.5 stars. The original better in my opinion and I got to spend time with friends. We have a blast together.
Then Saturday happened! What day that was! We (Carrie, Brandi, and I) got out of the town later then we wanted to but it was because of circumstances that where out of our control. Some people were upset about it but it was out of their control and we made to the wedding on time. We got to Jefferson City around 4:30 and the wedding was at 5:30. We went to a friend’s house to change and ladies looked beautiful as they usually. We had about ten minutes to get to the wedding after everyone got changed. With my mad driving skill we made it there with 3 minutes to spear. Oh yea!!!
The wedding was out side at the Governors Gardens and besides it being really, really hot and the seating being a little to close it was a great set up. The service was short and sweet and then we took a group photo after the service. Something I have done before but I liked it; like a family picture.
Then it was time to party. It was at a place I have been to before and knew it was going to be a good reception. The food was great and the take home frizbee were a great idea. Well they were a good idea until we stated to see them fly around the place. It was fun but I don’t know if some of the older people like seeing them flying around the room. But what are you going to do to when you invite people that will look for any opportunity to play frizbee. I had a great time.
We got out of there around 12 or so then went back to our friend’s house where we stayed up talking a laugh at each other. I don’t remember the time but as soon as we lay down we were gone until the next morning. We got made an awesome breakfast and some us left early to get back to Springfield of some other plans.
I was going to play frizbee that nite but when I hit my door I just felt really, really beat and I laid down on a floor and feel asleep. I guess the traveling caught up with me. Sometimes that happens. I had a hard time last nite but I talked it off and things are going to be ok what ever happens. It was a great weekend!!

Back to the Future

This week is going pretty well! I think I have just gotten a lot of stuff done this week and my thinking as turned from what it once was for those reasons I have just felt better. I got asked the other day for a favor from a person that doesn’t ask much of me. If you knew the person you would understand. I got asked to ride in the MS150. For those you don’t know what that is. It is a 150-mile bike ride to support MS and for those who know me know I like to help people out and if it is something that I get to workout in it is just icing on the cake for me. We will be biking form Springfield to Lebanon which I think is only 500 miles but who knows. We will be biking half way there one day with breaks every 10 to 12 miles and then bike back the next day. The only problem is I have a mountain bike not a road bike so she (my partner) is going to check with her father to see if I can borrow his.
Tomorrow is Friday and I might be going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with some friends, which I want to see how dark it can be from the original. Then Saturday I will be heading back to Jefferson City for a wedding that I have been looking forward to for a while. Why? Cuz I get to see some friends that I haven’t seen in a while. I get to see two people get married that are meant for each other. Plus I will be taking a friend that I have come to respect in the last couple of months and I get to show some people my house. Not many people come to my house since I live outside the city in the woods. It is kind of feels like a family or High school reunion where you get to catch up with people. It is funny when stuff like this comes up it show how much I have changed form the person I was who graduated from JC six years ago. I am always saying how I haven’t changed but I see it when you go back and interact with my past. Weird!!! But that doesn’t mean I’m stopping here. I feel I still have a way to go but God is leading me so I know I will be ok even through the rough times.

Holy CRAP.. this is GREAT

“Holy Crap…this is GREAT!!” Were the words that come out of my mouth last nite as I seating on the edge of my seat while enjoying the movies War of the Worlds. It was great, two thumbs up, and a must see of the summer movies. Spielberg did a excellent job in this remake of the H.G Wells story.
Everything is going pretty well. I’m thinking better then I have in a while. Life is still busy but I have had some nites to myself to get some stuff done that I have needed to get done. Now I just have to find a new place to live for next year. If I don’t move it will be ok but I think I have out grown the place I’m out now. I haven’t had too much luck so far but I’m still looking. If anyone knows of a place that is pretty good on rent and has a washer and dryer hook let me know. Ha!
Well I better get back to work it is TGIF and I don’t want to be here late tonite. I have nothing planned but I can come up with something.Later you all

My Independence Day

I can breath can.
This weekend was great.
I got to see my family and friends. Met some new friends.
Saw Lee Greenwood in concert (two thumbs up).
Almost got killed by fireworks (not all my fault and yes there was adults around).Learn and relearned some things about life.
