it is summer... wow it is hot

Sorry it has been a while. Work as been a mad house and my outside life has been very busy lately but I'm still here just a move'n and a groove'n.

It is very out outside and having a sunburn doesn’t help. I spent 4 hours out at the pool on Sunday. I made a new friend this weekend at church and she is very cool. I met her a frizbee practice and then I found out that we have more in common then first thought including attending the same church. That is cool!! She wanted to go swimming so I invited her over and we had fun talking and throwing around the frizbee. It was good to have someone that you have just met feel comfortable around you. It made the day for enjoyable. I know what you all are thinking and you are wrong. You think new girl, new love interest but you would be wrong. She is attractive but I don’t see anything else but friends and I think that is ok. You all don’t give me enough credit.

Now about the female I am interested in it is going better. We talked about stuff but and we are going to date see where it goes but I still feel like there is something that I’m not seeing. I have played it over and over in mind and I just can’t see what is behind the closed door. It is a feeling that I’m kind of leering of but letting it go till I know more./ Scary!!!
This weekend is the 4th of July. I can’t believe it is already here! Time is flying and I hope I’m keeping up. I feel that I am but wow where does the time go.
I have three more wedding to go to this summer and I’m looking forward to all of them. I’m going to two of them with to good friends of mine (they know who they are) and what makes is great is that they will know people there and won’t feel left out. That is a good thing. I think we will have fun.

last day of spring

Hey you all
I hope this finds everyone doing great and having a great summer thus far!! Last day of spring so live it up!!!
I went home this weekend for Father’s Day and my cousin Tiffany’s graduation party. It was fun. I saw Batman Begins Friday nite with my cousin’s Matt and Nate. I loved it. They brought back the Batman of old. About time!!! I give it two thumbs up and 5 stars!!
Saturday my family got up and instead of working around the house like we usually do we went to help set for my cousin’s party. Lets see we got there around 11 am and didn’t leave until 9pm that nite. I was pooped. We had a blast. My uncle started a water fight with the hose but I would like to say I finished it. I took for the team and rushed him, getting soaked, and got the hose from him and got him back. I was wet and had to sit on the ground for the rest of the day but, oh yea, I got him and everyone else that tried to get me. It was great. Went to church on Sunday where the sermon was about running from God and to tell you the truth I needed it. I have been trying to do stuff my way and running form what God wants me to do so, the sermon was an eye opener. In this point in my life I have so much stuff going for me that it is easy to get caught up in it that you forget why you are really here. I feel calmer but I know I have a long way to go and that is fine I use to doing stuff the hard way.I came home Sunday afternoon and was tired and didn’t want to do anything but I had to get out and enjoy the nice day. So, I got my bike “second car” and started to head to Frizbee practice when I had a little car trouble, The thing that shifts the gears up and down just broke off. I think that is why I have been having such a hard time with my gears skipping lately. I hope that is what it was. So now I have to find time to get that fixed. I think it is still under warranty. Anywho, I got to Frizbee practice a little late but it is all good. It was a good practice where we played for almost 3 hours. I was hurting and just wanted to head home but my friend Kelsey called and asked if I wanted to run and I said oh yea. She asked if I would be tired after playing 3 hours of Frizbee where I replied when it come to running her I’m never to tired. I thought we were going to run for like 20 mins. Oh no it was 40 mins and we were moving faster then we usually do but I was ok. It is fun to run with her. She makes it fun. After talking for a while I went home to my bed and said Hi bed and woke up this morning. I work up stiff and wanting more sleep but I’m doing ok today. I had a great weekend. Everything happens for a reason

I know I haven’t said anything in while but I have been a busy boy and plus my computer at home just really sucks. I can’t really check my e-mail unless I talk to my computer in the sweetest of tones. All it seems to want to do is instant message. I don’t mind that but I need more. Maybe a new computer would help. I think I might be due for one. This one was cheap five years ago when I got it and with the change of technology I think it is far behind the times. Time to start saving.
Life has been very interesting in the last couple of week especial last couple of nites with the weather. Having tornado warnings in the middle of the nite and doing the evening hours. You have to love it! It really puts a dapper on getting out and enjoying the summer nites but I have been having fun learning how to play guitar. I almost know 3 cords now and only a lot more to go but I’m hoping it gets easier as I get to know more. The summer is going great so far. I have been hanging out with friends and learning new stuff about me and life.
For those I was talking to last nite online I must apologize for not talking to you. I got put in a situation last nite that I didn’t hope to be in but now I’m in it so I must now follow it through. I ask for your prayers to guide me through this uncomfortable situation. Well I better get back to work.

wild weekend

This was pretty good weekend for the most part. Well I had two choices for the weekend. I could have gone on a float trip with some friends or stay here and go to a friend’s wedding party. Both of them would have been way fun but I could be a two places at once. I haven’t figured out how does that yet.
I made my choice by looking at what I have been doing for the last couple of weekends and looking next couple of weekends. I decided to stay here relax and hang out with my friends at the wedding party. I have been traveling for the last couple of weekends and I will be traveling for the next two weekends. I needed to get some stuff done around the apt also.
Well the wedding party was fun; I guess you can say it was a bachelor’s party also. We all started out at the apt hanging out with some good old BBQ. Yum yummy!! Then the gals and the guys split up and did there own thing. The rest of the nite was interesting and I didn’t get home until 2 am. I was pooped.
I went to church the next day where the next couple weeks we will be learning about Mathew. That will be cool. It does feel weird with out everyone there for church. I don’t mind going by myself cuz I’ve done it so many times before. I’m there for God, not for me.
I didn’t have anything planned for that day so I decided to go out and play some frizbee (side note: I haven’t played firzbee in a while) where I played for almost 3 hours. It was a blast and I wouldn’t mind playing again. My legs didn’t hurt during the games and oh yea it just felt good. It felt like I got a lot of crap out of my system. It is just I’m so busy doing a lot of other stuff. Lets see what happens.
Well, I was pooped after that 3 hrs and I rode my bike to a friend’s apt and we chatted for a little bit. It was about 9 pm when I got back and I ate some dinner and relaxed after my great weekend.
The next two weekends I will be heading home for a wedding the first weekend (2 or 5 if you are keeping count for the summer) and then my cousin’s graduation party. That could be interesting. Till next time catch yea later……

Lets see

Lets see. I have been bogged town this week with project after project and I didn’t think I would get done but guess what I underestimated myself. I got done today well that till they want to change it or something else. City people!!!! I just found out that I’m going to have a new office next year!! Yay for me!!
One of my projects for the summer is learn how to play the guitar. Yes I said guitar. IT is going very slowly but that is what the guy said would happen in the beginning. He just keep playing and it will come. I have one note down for the most part but wow the “F major” is a pain in the butt. I will keep it up but I probably won’t be serenading anyone anytime soon it is still fun to have a big hobby like this to undertake. One of my co-works say the longer you play the better you will get. I’m just doing the best I can.I went mini golfing the other nite with one of my friends and I was goofy around saying I was going to kick her butt and everything. Oh yea I got my butt kicked. I think this is the worst I have ever done. She says she wouldn’t mind a rematch in the future. Maybe I will have to take her up on that. I don’t mind being beat by a female but I could have done better. Bring it on Heather. ERRRRR!

Three Day Weekend!!

This weekend was great. I saw Star Wars III. It had some cooney parts but over all two thumbs up.
Saturday, I love to help people especially friends. I helped my friend Renee move into her great looking new apt. It is spaces and if I could afford it and it was on the right side of town I would be there. I was supposed to help someone else but they were to fast. Then My friend Deanna and I went to Mel’s graduation party up in the St. Louis area. It was great. Just to get away from here for a while. They have a little cabin that we stayed at Sunday nite. We then helped out Mel’s family with the holiday paraded passing out balloons. That was fun.
We came back home and I feel asleep at Deanna’s for a while. I was pooped.
Deanna and I talked a little bit after I woke up and I went back and then I got invited to go see The Longest Yard. It was good. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. It is a funny movie but I also looked past all the funny stuff to see another story of sacrifice of one for the many. Some many times I hear, “ do what is best for you.” It was nice to be reminded to not be selfish and to help others. The aftermath might be better then the one you had for yourself. Like I said the movie was good I love things that make me think.
I live three day weekends but when went to bed I said to myself,” I need a vacation from this vacation” All in All I had a great weekend but the next months is going to be crazy. Stay tooned
